I can’t recall the last time I purchased a personal pair of Jordan Retro. But lately I’ve been praising Jordan Brand for their upcoming sneakers i.e. the white & royal 18 and the Black & Olive 13; I’m saying all this to say that JB has been on the right track, implementing the “edit and Amplify” strategy. But all that will be undone if they revert back to releasing garbage like these white and black Air Jordan 9’s. They look like a by product of a poorly executed custom- we’ve all seen horrible customs that seemed to have been colored with a sharpie. And that’s exactly what these 9’s remind me of. And they are supposedly releasing in honor of the Jordan 9 25th anniversary.
The OG 9 already made a return this year under a different alias, so this new colorway was supposed to be the alternate version the vintage model but it looks terrible in my opinion. How about just bringing back the charcoal 9, the powder blue 9 and the olive 9 and call it a day. Maybe I’m being too grumpy but I’m not fond of the shoes at all. Let me know what you guys think of these.
