ASICS continues their strong push in 2017 in both performance and casual. Their latest release is all about trail running performance. The Gel-FujiRado is a compelling release that utilizes a BOA lacing system. The system has become the defacto system for trail shoes and footwear that will be utilized on multiple terrains.
As a runner hits water and mud, the shape and style of a shoe can shift and move causing uncomfortable fit which decreases performance. The BOA system combined with ASICS technology, “features symmetrical medial and lateral panels and heel hold for ascent and descent on the trail. The MONO-SOCK® upper, secure lace containment, aggressive outsole lugs and a strengthened toe bumper allow runners to take on challenging terrain.”
The GEL-FujiRado model retails for $130 USD and will be available beginning June 1, 2017 at ASICS retail and online stores and select specialty running stores.
