ASICS’ “Texas” Tuxedo Drop Is Dope

Share In-Depth News from AHN

Denim took a backseat to joggers and sportswear, but if ASICS has it’s way their patchwork denim will contribute to the renaissance of denim in casual wear. The team at Onitsuka Tiger assembled various cuts of denim to build shirts and pants that feature the classic straight leg option and maintaining a connection to the trend they also made a jogger styled denim option.

Toss in the “Texas” Tuxedo jean jacket with patchwork construction and the classic American jean outfit comes into shape. Instead of allowing the jean jacket to carry the burden of heavy lifting, ASICS also constructed a sweater styled denim shirt to pull off a more casual look with the denim or to be utilized in styling a pair of khakis. The dopest element of the Patchwork collection is the leather Tiger logo dropped on the seat of the pants and across the chest pocket of the shirts. The final element of design in this collection is the denim jean shirt or denim hoodie. The button up denim shirt allows for another interchangeable element. Denim never really goes away. It loses favor for a season but the cotton based, classic sturdy construction remains a stylish item at any moment. This Patchwork Collection is dope.
