I don’t often give the Dope tag out… but when I do say Collect This or Dope S–t I Like, I mean it. I also know that the shoe will have the potential to be a solid performer if people know it’s available. The Converse Thunderbolt was updated with a Lunarlon/Roshe styled outsole and it didn’t perform very well in that make up.
This shoe reminds me of my own design. I produced a USA colorway of the CG097II a few years back and it had the same colorway layout. Maybe that’s why I’m so attracted to this shoe. Could it be that Converse has been browsing the site? Nah, but this is a dope shoe and it’s perfect for the summer. Oh, it does have an injected EVA insert for comfort while retaining the traditional outsole.
