Rockdeep isn’t exactly new. The idea was conceived in 2013 by the son of a military family. Rocky Parrish has launched a brand built on the premise of affordable hiking footwear and apparel. My fascination with the brand stems from the obvious, I pull for startup footwear companies. In almost every article where I discuss a brand I’ve discovered I bring up my companies and I remind anyone reading that what I want for everyone in the sneaker community is for us to become more than just consumers. Rockdeep is another opportunity for sneaker lovers to see themselves in a brand that was generated from the ground up.
Enough of that, let’s get to the pictures. I’m partial to the 73-5C433 with its rugged Huarache inspired outsole and premium build. The shoe that caught my attention though was the 73-5B420 pictured above and in the first picture below. I almost wished I lived in a city where it gets cold so I could grab a pair of the 74-5J427 just so I could also pick up a Shearling coat and flex like it’s 97 in Shaolin Island. The brand is working hard to disrupt the market and I actually think that the shoes, based solely on looking at these pics and the site, definitely should be considered one of the best new brands on the market.
