K Dot is an emcee who realizes the importance of what he does and says. Instead of simply aligning himself with a brand to develop fashion or just a dope shoe, he utilizes the brand to generate opportunities in his hometown of Compton and this carries his message to other areas as well. How effective is it at reducing the problems in communities with gangs? I don’t think that can be measured. However, when your artists take a position and create with the people in mind things get better. Now, if more artists followed suit a real change could take place. It’s hard to hear one voice. Keep up the good work Kendrick, salute!
