We’ve all seen this story and we can’t get enough of it. I’m sharing this because it’s a sneaker site, but I feel slightly bad about sharing it because this kid is 16. Giving him this type of publicity in a game where we’ve seen too many peers die, even his mentor was murdered over kicks feels a bit wrong. I guess I’m sharing it because the sensational story always overshadows the guys who are in the grind and really would like to gain some shine and are old enough and prepared enough to deal with the consequences of being feature in national media.
