Nike’s Edit To Amplify strategy is written all over their 2018 release calendar. We already know the Black Cement Air Jordan 3 is making a return next year. I had already shared a post in the Summer alluding to the imminent revisitation of the Air Jordan 11 Concord. Jordan Brand confirmed that the Concord was indeed coming back in the month of November of the year 2018 which leads me to believe that it will be on Black Friday.

This is the only authentic Concord with the #45 on the heel tab that I know of

The last time we saw the Concord was in 2011 and it was the shoe that became the catalyst for the pandemonium that sneakerheads witnessed at every notable Jordan Retro release. I can remember the night I went to camp out for the Concord like it was yesterday. Needless to go into further details, I’ll only say that this was my last camp out- what I witnessed that day was similar to hyenas fighting for the carcass of a rotting deer. Since Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam with the #45 on the back, it leads me to believe that they will replicate it on the Air Jordan 11 Concord. Would you rather have the #23? I think JB should ask the community to cast their vote on this, that will be a great way to reconnect with a lot of sneaker heads who are becoming progressively numb to Jordan Retros. I’ll also want to remind you to be careful because several years ago, fake pairs of the Concord with the #45 on the back were floating and I was also fooled by one. I’ll include pictures below to show you what the replicas look like.

There were tons of pairs like this on eBay at one time a couple of years ago. I’ll admit that the shoes are pretty tempting
They’ll even try to deceive you by putting the sample tag on the inside
The carbon fiber is a dead giveaway, it looks cheap, this is the type of material you can probably scratch off with a nickel
