Another brand that shows up multiple times in this list when they probably don’t show up at all on others is New Balance. The privately owned brand was one of the strongest performers this year when it comes to the delivery of premium products. They were also very good at making strategic partnerships. This connection with Stance was a consistent theme throughout 2017. As Stance lost their NBA deal they weren’t as visible, but to replace that they joined forces with New Balance which led to high profile releases with MLB stars under the NBs umbrella. They also delivered a few packs that were perfect. The First of All ships with the complimentary Stance socks and as a part of the pack this shoe was the standout. Now the price wasn’t cheap, but it’s Made in the USA and while that doesn’t mean a lot in the sneaker world, it’s important.
