During Investor’s Day Heidi O’Neill and Adam Sussman delivered the goals for the Nikeplus Membership push. On 11/14 Nike announced another Flash Sale and today they introduced three new projects under the membership program:

ACCESS TO NIKE EXPERTS ON DEMAND

This feature connects you with a real person who will give you personalized recommendations, including helping to track something down, gearing you up for a specific sport or styling you out. For example, if you’re about to take on your first marathon, you can message a Nike expert who’s run many and can handpick footwear and apparel tailored to your goals and budget. If you prefer an in-person conversation, you can book a session with an expert in select retail locations.

EXCLUSIVE SHOP

This gets you the opportunity to purchase premium members-only product, including prized collaborations and the latest innovations, with options to personalize that product. In fact, it’s the only place where you can customize exclusive colorways of the new Nike ACG Mowabb iD and Nike Air Vapormax from top to bottom, or show love for your team in a big way by adding an oversized logo and personalized lace dubraes to the Nike Air Force 1 High NBA iD. It’s also the only place you can find the original colorway of the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0.

RESERVED FOR YOU

With the information mentioned above, Nike will set aside coveted product for you beforeits public release date. Beyond single products or multiple products, the benefit also relays invitations to exclusive services such as members-only shopping events. And the more info you share with Nike, the better it can reserve product and experiences for you.

On top of all this, members will have access to same-day courier delivery, priority checkout at select Nike Factory stores and extended member shopping hours beginning with New York stores. Additional NikePlus Unlocks will continue to roll out in the future.

I’ve attempted to remind people that Nike’s Flash Sales are meant to drive consumer engagement and registration on its platform. The goal is to move Nike into Amazon Prime territory. If the brand can keep users engaged and on the platform they can deliver a faster checkout experience for buyers who, in their own words, “spend 3X more than unregistered visitors to Nike.”

Nike is making good on its promise to shareholders to drive growth via the Consumer Direct Offense. Use the source link to read more.
