Nike desperately wants to resurrect its once dazzling Sb line; following the release of the orange & Silver box, the brand is bringing back this time another one of their classic boxes- the purple box. The Nike SB Dunk High Purple Box will release alongside the NMD primeknit pack on Dec 26.

The shoes are a perfect replica of the one of a kind 2006 Nike SB MF Doom; just like the doom they have a black based upper with purple detailing all throughout. They feature a combination of suede and synthetic leather, as well as ostrich leather on the toe box . Nike SB branding can be spotted in purple on the outside of the tongue; you can also see a large black Swoosh logo on the side panels. A debossed Sb Box logo occupies the heel to give the shoes a sleek look. Another interesting feature of the sneakers is the 3M reflective effect on the lining ( around the eyestay,toe box and the heel overlays).

They will also come with custom insoles featuring a graphic of stacked up Sb boxes

I don’t skate so I can’t really give you a performance review on these; one thing I know is Sb’s in general are very durable ( they are built for longevity, guys who skate put a lot of pressure on their shoes).
