Jordan Brand is always revisiting the past and reinterpreting their classics. As the leading division in Nike Footwear it appears that the brand is down overall. Nike is producing so many pair that slow sell through is becoming the norm. I discussed this a year ago when I explained that Nike was intentionally killing resale.
This version of the Retro 8, in my opinion, is one of the cleanest looks for the shoe. It makes sense that the drop arrives in the fall as I’ve always considered the 8 a Fall/Winter model due to the inner sockliner bootie and straps. In this clean, grey suede color it looks even better. This is a GIF of the final sample of the Fall release, but it’s nice to get an idea of what the drop will look like. I like it. Will it pop in resale? Probably not, but as far as style it’s a dope model.
