The beauty of going sneaker hunting is that I find myself 99.9% of the time coming across shoes that not made it to the “net” just yet. What I mean by that is that sneaker blogs haven’t yet adulterated and killed the shoe yet. This Saturday, I found sitting on a shelf a pair of multi colored Air huarache; I found out later on that they were dubbed the Nike Air Huarache SE Oregon Ducks. I guess the colors on the shoes pretty much mimic the University Of Oregon ‘s logo.
They shoes feature a grey and white based upper with Green and Yellow detailing. Grey mostly covers the toe area, the tongue and its extension, the eyestay and parts of the heel. White is featured on the side panels and the toe box. Green and yellow cover the side leather panels and the plastic cage respectively. The huarache is probably one of the hardest shoe to put on for people with wide feet. I tried putting on a pair in the summer time and quickly gave up. They are stretchy one you put them on but are very hard to slip on. The neoprene inner liner make them very comfortable around the foot but they are a bit narrow near the tip of the toe. They also sport a phylon midsole and are equipped with air sole units in the heel and forefoot to deliver maximum cushioning.
I don’t think there is an actual release date for these Nike Air Huarache SE Oregon Ducks. Check your local Finishline for further details; these do not have any “O” paying tribute to the Oregon Ducks so the nickname was fabricated by sneaker fans. Nonetheless they are a must have.
