Like the Under Armour House in Baltimore, Nike is building these community projects throughout the country. It’s interesting because the first one should have been in Memphis considering how many of our Recreation Centers are underfunded and often closed. This isn’t a complaint post, it’s a celebratory post. These companies are billion dollar industries that are built on the backs of the inner city who buy a lot of the shoes and gear released so it only stands to reason that Nike would begin to give back. With UA House and Nike Community Impact Fund, I hope this extends to other brands. Click the source link to read more and to discover how to apply for grants if the Funds are in your area.
