The LeBron 16 has finally landed, but I feel like it was too soon. I also feel that Nike is pumping so many shoes out into the market that dropping the 16 when so many LeBron XVs are on sale in both low and high colorways will eat away at the sell through of the 16. I also think the pricing of the 16 should have been lower since it’s a mid. The shoe feels sturdier than the XV, and the lower profile allows for a lifestyle version, but the outsole is much more solid and feels like an outdoor boot than a basketball sneaker… which kinda makes sense when you look back at the Air Zoom Generation… It will be interesting to see if Nike plays with different materials for this design.
