I’ve been a long time wearer of Allen Edmonds. The made in the US brand combines comfort and quality in their footwear and accessories. My favorite pair are my Doubleday Loafers made from baseball grade leather and stitched along the top with the classic red thread from the actual baseball. I haven’t done a Get To Know in a while and thought this recent addition to the line up from Allen Edmonds would be perfect to introduce the brand on ARCH.
Allen Edmonds has teamed up with NBA player Michael Carter Williams to create a classic staple brogue. Most of my brogues are Cole Haan, but I definitely need a classic black brogue for more conservative outings. Check out the write up on this release from Allen Edmonds and browse around the site.
Known for his all-around game, basketball star Michael Carter-Williams’ off-court skills are also on display in these custom-made shoes that he co-designed with Allen Edmonds. Named after his nickname and jersey number, the MCW5 has traditional brogueing which highlights the shoe’s American craftsmanship, while the sharkskin heel and tongue, green eyelet to match Milwaukee’s jersey color and black-on-black design give it a fashion-forward look as smooth and unique as MCW’s game. With the addition of the all-weather Dainite rubber sole, these balmorals have the versatility and style for playmakers who can do it all-anytime, anywhere.
