The BHM footwear is a solid acknowledgement of African-American history but I think the ideas should be executed better. While the shoes often look good, they don’t really tie into the heritage beyond fabrics used in the build. This version represents Sierra Leone. I’m not sure if it really reflects US Black history in some manner, but the shoe looks good. It wasn’t very well received as you can pick up pairs at below retail.
