This was going to be an authentic verification video for the “Are Yours Real” series, but I began doing the video, starting with the size tag like always, and I noticed that this wasn’t an SE version of the Mid, but the price was up another 5 dollars from 115. I looked at the GS version and realized that it was up to 95 dollars from 90. The consumer’s willingness to overpay for general release Jordan Mids has led to Nike’s ability to quietly increase the price without any pushback from sneaker fans. It’s an excellent business strategy, and it shows just how easy it is to adjust pricing right in front of the customer’s nose.
