This is one of the best performance models (tech-wise) from the Swoosh in years. It’s also one of the most surprising hoops shoes. In this video, I make the claim that this shoe had to have been designed with Kobe in mind. Quite possibly the six dots on the medial side of the shoe are an extension of Kobe code. While there doesn’t seem to be a reconciliation on the table between the Mamba estate and the Swoosh, this shoe is definitely a model that reminds us of what Kobe was attempting to do with his kicks.
