Source: ADIDAS & JAMES HARDEN CHANGE DIRECTION WITH HARDEN VOL. 2
With names like Ignite, California Dreamin, and Vision the names of the Harden line up seem like adidas is developing an elite product for their MVP. The problem is the official release info from adidas arrived today. The official release of the Harden is the 16th of February at the All Star Weekend 747 event in Los Angeles. The problem is I could have bought these a month ago from a local store because the shoes shipped with zero merchandising for making the Harden standout from other adidas products. The shoe shows up on the adidas wall and in the middle of the EQT Support (makred down from 180 to 129.99) and the EQT ADV (dropped to 69.99 from 130) it looks like another release as opposed to the signature shoe from the frontrunner for MVP in the NBA. This post isn’t about the issue with the launch though… well it is. The shoe shipped without a launch date from adidas. I don’t even think certain stores realize that it doesn’t drop until next week. The worst part the store hasn’t sold a single pair and this might be the most street ready look for a basketball shoe ever. There is another problem here as well, the shoe is deceptively heavy. This is due to the amount of BOOST used which is a good thing, but I am also bothered by the removal of premium leather from the Vol. 1… this is not a review though. It’s also not a comment on the lack of Houston Rockets colorway. It’s an update on the drops coming from adidas, so here they are:
