A lot of people took Ls on this shoe when it dropped. It’s the first Yeezy in a while to hit resale, but in my opinion, it is simply because it reminds people of the Pirate Black. This is a long video because I was going to start looking at the different cues, but as soon as I started going over the shoe I realized that adidas has made a shoe that is extremely easy to copy. The QR codes on the shoe won’t scan on the size label or the size hangtag and the model is too simple (basic in design) to be honest.
Everyone has known this for a while, but today it hit me when I did this video. In the past I hadn’t checked the QR Code on the Yeezy when I did a video. Once Nike began to utilize QR Codes I started checking to see just where the code went since a fake dealer doesn’t really benefit if they copy the code and it takes a buyer to Nike where the shoe might still be in stock, same for Yeezy. I do realize that a person who wears a counterfeit shoe probably doesn’t care where they get it from, but people who spend a lot of dough on their kicks care.

If you buy this shoe only get it from a reputable retailer or a very reputable third party because there really isn’t a way to tell the real shoe from the fake and adidas didn’t help by making the QR codes garbage.
