As the Marvel Universe prepares for the closure of one chapter with Endgame, the story of Spiderman gets a reboot that allows for the creation of not one lineage of Spiderman, but an abundance of parallel universe Spiderpeople. One in particular though is of interest to sneaker culture, Miles Morales.
The character is a beneficiary of considerable brand placement. In the film he rocks the Air Jordan 1 High OG Chicago. Nike makes sure that the day of the film release that you can wear the same shoe… if you were lucky enough to wake up early and cop. The shoe sold out immediately in all sizes and on the heels of the Air Jordan 11 Concord drop last week it sets Nike & Jordan Brand up for an incredible December.
