The winterized Air Jordan 14 is interesting. The shoe still has it’s air vents that mimic the Ferrari’s. At the medial and lateral sides of the shoe near the heel are two mesh screens that allow the foot to breath. Those vents allow water to enter the shoe in the rain completely negating the ‘winterized’ aspect of the sneaker. I do like this brown suede upper which doesn’t have the holes throughout the upper like the traditional 14. The price increase to 210 is a signifier of things to come from Jordan Brand. The resale prices have allowed the brand to increase the price of all of its footwear. This is an important conversation that should be taking place, but isn’t.
