Right before Katrina hit I ran a basketball camp for 40 of New Orleans area top basketball recruits. It was the first year of my Center Court Basketball camps and the players were incredible. All 40 of those players, many of them who had finished up high school were sent off to colleges in Cali and the high school age guys who had to move away after the hurricane I kept tabs on and some went to D-1 schools, D-2, NAIA and JUCOs after their final years of high school. I feel like it was one of the most important camps I’ve ever hosted. The Retro 3 Katrina was a shoe that was used as a fundraiser and was worn by Derek Anderson as a PE and this is it’s first retro release.
One important note I left out is that the boxes have a white stamp on the inside that has HOF included in the title of the size of the box. If you kicks don’t have this white stamp with HOF somewhere in the numbers, be careful.
