Store Re-opening Resale Report & Analysis: https://arch-usa.com/product-category/store-re-opening-resale-report-analysis/

Every year I do a an “end of the year” wrap up and tell my YouTube family how much money I generated from reselling sneakers. While I use the sneakers as tools for research and analyzing brands and retail (my daily visits to retailers are super informative), it’s obvious the money generated gives me an extra bit of motivation. This year I decided to tie my discussion to all of eBay’s attempts to recapture sellers who moved to other platforms.

In 2018 StockX was at 10 Million visits a month. I wrote several articles discussing the ecommerce site’s advertising campaigns in non-traditional locations. I wrote about it in my last book. This year StockX hit 24 Million visits a month. More website traffic than major brick and mortar retail chains with Nike accounts. This growth has led to an exodus of sellers from eBay causing the OG sneaker resale platform to finally adjust.

In this video I show my history of resale after I left eBay in 2010. I don’t show all of the gaps, but I explain that eBay has an opportunity to recapture, but to do so it won’t be aligning with YouTubers, NBA players and large sneaker resale that already has a huge brand presence. It will take tracking down players like me and asking the questions StockX asked a year ago when they flew to meet their VIPs.
