I was introduced to Enda in 2018 and this week I was reminded of the company in my social feed. I’ve noticed an uptick in advertising on social media by smaller brands since the quarantine started. It’s a good thing because there really is an audience that is a bit more focused than usual. They are browsing and staying longer on websites. My own new visitor rate is up 94.67%.

Enda is Built in the Home of Champions & Ready to Expand | Project + Exec
Enda, as discussed in the P+E post above was launched by
Navalayo “Nava” Osembo and Weldon Kennedy met in 2015 over a mutual interest in dramatically increasing the amount Kenya benefits from its well earned reputation in running.
Nava is a lawyer and accountant born and raised in Kenyan running country. Weldon is a social activist and running shoe nerd.
The duo has been able to make it to the two year mark which is an accomplish in this environment. I decided to share their current campaign in hopes that my expanded reach will introduce runners and beginning runners to a company born in a country that has always produced great athletes.
The model above is their latest design The Lapatet.
FLAG EYELETS
3 of the 4 colors of Kenya’s flag encircle the top lace eyelets. Black for the people, red for the blood spilled for independence, and green for the plant life of Kenya.
GREAT RIFT VALLEY
Kenya’s Great Rift Valley creates the perfect altitude and climate for training . We pay tribute to it with a topographical map down the center of the Lapatet.
KANGA & KIKOI
We took patterns from two traditional Swahili fabrics and brought them to the tongue tag and pull tab.
