Phil Wahba, dropped this tidbit of info and I saw it on NPD’s Matt Powell’s twitter feed. What’s this information?

I’ve been saying recently that while the sneakerhead world revolves around hype and Nike, there are other markets and the sneakerhead community although significant makes up a very small percentage of shoes sold. In other words, if you ask a sneakerhead what company is the top running shoe company, they would immediately say Nike. The fact is Brooks is really doing well right now. Take a moment to click through and check out the story. When I first started ARCH, and I was heavier the Brooks Beast was my go to. As I started to drop weight I shifted to the Puma Faas and this became the model for my first running shoe from ARCH.

Brooks is a brand that can actually capitalize on its history with the current retro trend and they are doing so with their heritage line. After you hit the source link above, for my fellow sneakerheads check out the retro running line from Brooks. Could there be a Dominique retro in the works? Probably not, but the potential is certainly there for a collab. Shout out Brooks on taking care of the runners, big and small.
