ASICS Corporation has introduced an automated shoe production system using industrial robots for lifestyle shoes at Sanin ASICS Industry Corporation (SAI), ASICS’ only shoe production base in Japan.

This makes my question rhetorical and really about delivering more information on the production process as a means of overcoming the inconsistencies in the decision making of the US government. As technology improves the issue is production in the U.S. is not capable of returning fully because it’s fiscally impossible. However on a small scale if companies can produce footwear internally on some products it would add to the circular economy right?
