I selected CASCA to write about today because the company fits the opportunities which remain in footwear for startups or reemerging companies. Right now there are few methods of distinguishing a business in this product segment. The large companies have the ability to encroach on any idea and startups that garner million dollar valuations have what smaller companies lack, funding to make it through difficult times. Casca is important because they took ideas that have existed in footwear and improved upon the delivery methods.

Casca delivers their new model and it doesn’t ring up on the low end at all. The footwear arrives at a premium price, but with the focus on quality over quantity the brand can fill a need for people looking for an alternative. This is obvious in the investment the company garnered last year.
