The Juice X Adidas Consortium NMD Racer is supposedly releasing in the Spring/Summer of 2018; the shoes were birthed out of a project with Adidas and trendy brand CLOT in conjunction with Japanese artist Madsaki. You can recognize Madsaki arts all over the uppers of the shoes which feature his signature Alienegra thorns in black and grey.
The Adidas three stripes will be featured on the panels and Juice’s own logos will adorn the sockliner. Additional adidas logos can be spotted on the outside of the tongue and sockliner as well. Material wise, from what I see in the pictures, mesh materials will pretty much cover the toe box and the panels. The heel panel is covered in nubuck/suede leather materials. One interesting aspect of this model is the EVA insert. They are usually on the lateral side of the midsole but this time, they are extended to the back, so are these shoes possibly hinting at the Adidas NMD R3? And one other thing I noticed is that the boost midsole on this model is very similar to the Ultra Boost midsole ( which is fuller and hence delivers more cushioning). Additional features include the elastic ankle liner, the rugged outsole and the pull tab on the back ( with japanese inscriptions) for an easy entry and exit. There is no exact release date on the shoes yet but stay tuned for further updates.
