Anyone who knows me, is aware of my dream to open an art gallery. We were married in my brother Herb’s Gallery 504 and I hosted open mics at the venue. That place was my soul and I think being there created the person I am today. One of the best features of 504 was the local artwork from San Diego artists. There is something about meeting a person who created a physical representation of an idea; and that happened all of the time at the 504.

I talk about Gallery 504 because when I check out the new website from Kimanhi Bolden, it connects with me and I know I would request giclees and signed prints for my gallery. When I wrote my business plan for the arch gallery, I wanted it to be like 504. I met Kimanhi because of the sneaker industry. My gallery concept was going to highlight three aspects of the things I love: music, sports and kicks. Kimanhi’s new site captures every aspect with a distinct, minimalist, suprematism, cubist style. Take a second to use the link at the lead and check out the work. I’ll be doing the same as I shift my office from sneaker art highlighting one brand to a more diverse presentation.
