The league leading Sky had to fight to keep the Wings from flying into their airspace. Leading the way in the air control tower were Kaleah Copper and Emma Meesseman both dropping a Jordan jersey 23 pts. Copper understood the assignment adding 14 boards and refused to let Marina Mabrey’s 22 pts buzz the tower for the Wings. The Captain CP3 bounced back from an awful 0-for in her previous outing and closed out the Wings with two big threes. Arike’s point total was cut in half from the previous outing with 15 points. The defense of the Sky allowing only 25% from the floor after a blistering 32 points in the last game. Eye-opening stat? The Sky outrebounded the Wings 40-24
