I decided to make this a less traditional, check for authenticity video. I wanted to talk about Zion as a player and also show the tech featured in Zion’s first signature model from Jordan Brand. While I jumped into a variety of details, the most important is that Jordan Brand isn’t created a sneaker for Zion’s legacy. They are building sneakers to engage the international market and kids. Zion may be hurt, but he is generational talent and in creating his sneaker Jordan should have looked to shoes like the Air 2 Strong and Carnivore for Zion, or Zion should have gone with adidas and the design team behind the Harden 1. Strong words, but I didn’t take this one lightly.
