While you won’t find Karhu readily available at mainstream sneaker outlets, their collections are more than capable of capturing the eye of those looking for a shift in their wardrobes for the fall and winter. Their latest collection named “Character of College” looks like it’s ready for students on campus, but the reality is when you’re in school and hitting the books, you may want sweats and sneakers, but you’re probably opting for the quickest, most basic look you can find.
This collection features apparel that extends beyond undergraduate and grad school selections and is perfectly suited for OGs and those bold enough to rock something outside of Jordans and Yeezy. To put it simply, Karhu targeted the wrong group, although the people pictured in the photography look fly, imagine if I stepped up with my salt and pepper beard and did this photo shoot as a small business owner getting ready to do date night with wifey?
