Remember when Nike made every shoe in Kanye’s colors? Overbranding/Overbranded is basically Nike taking a collaborator’s ideas and integrating them into every sneaker they make. The Air Max 97 was a part of the Ten. This Air Max obviously carries elements of the Ten in the shifting of traditional elements and overstated branding. The monotone Blue Hero color works here very well. The increased ribbon and large font AIR MAX on the shoes are eye catching design cues for the classic trainer.
