Nike joined forces with Netflix’s Stranger Things in Season 3. What was born was a series of Nike throwback sneakers from that time period that featured distinctive design elements representing elements of the popular sci-fi series. Shoes from the pack were Cortez and Blazers that captured elements of the Upside Down, Starcourt Mall and Hawkins High. This Blazer highlighted the Independence Day opening episode and came with a set of pins and the year of 1985 at the heel with graphics on the shoe inserts.
