The Epic React gets an update, but stays true to the original. The lightweight, Flyknit, bouncy running shoe is built on the same platform with minor changes to the structure for the shoelace eyelets and there is now small TPU heel stability cap. I switched from BOOST to REACT, but to be fair, it was a decision based on apparel since I have so much Nike gear. They are both great cushioning systems that feel really good when walking or jogging. As a heavier guy there is a bit of a squishy feel, but it has a bounce to it.
