Not all retros are of basketball sneakers and Jordans. Nike is beginning to pull from its training category and release sneakers that are only ten years old. The Free Run was revolutionary in the use of a segmented outsole that allowed the foot to move naturally. The upper consisted of a sock-like fit with nubuck overlays to give the shoe structure. I liked the construction so much that I utilized a similar outsole when I made my arch CG097II running shoe. That shoe became one of the best selling shoes for my small brand.
