Space Jam 2 arrived unlike the original film. The OG featured two sneaker drops. The unofficial Air Jordan 9 and of course the classic Air Jordan 11. This time around, Nike produced three different versions of the LeBron 18 low, this LeBron 8 version and Converse rolled a number of releases. Nike saw this as a marketing moment and it paid off as the shoes sold out fairly well in every iteration.
The LeBron 8 features all of the retro tech: Flywire, Full length Visible Max Air and the materials are premium. The graphics throughout the upper sync well with the film’s theme. It’s a solid release, but is more for the young fans than it is for those of us who remember the original film.
