I have to admit, I hate the nickname “Freak”. I really don’t think it will age well and I hope Nike and Giannis realizes that being called freak isn’t equivalent to taking the power away from the word. It’s going to be weird when he’s an elder statesmen in the NBA with his kid’s at the game… I call for retiring the nickname and I’m calling for him to utilize GA as the signature line. Anyway, Nike is obviously targeting kids with the marketing. I think the concept is cool, but it’s a miss because kids don’t play sports anymore and their parents definitely don’t by hoops shoes for casual wear when a pair of Vans are half the price. It’s a challenge for Nike with what is a solid basketball release.
