Kith has such an immediate impact on the lifestyle scene that they can take small releases and generate an interest in a brand that basically exists as rehash of styles in existence.
Aldos and Steve Madden all have built million dollar lines out of literally creating take down models of popular shoes. People shoes has a Chuck silhouette, a Sock Dart silhouette, and other standard classics from the canvas flat, to slides. There wasn’t anything very adventurous in the catalog until they collaborated with Kith on this Waldo Runner Pack.

The Waldo falls in line with the Cortica in that it looks and feels like a Tubular. There isn’t anything wrong with that considering other brands share similarities. Without Kith cosigning would this model be taken seriously?
