Description
The Air Jordan 16 arrived at the end of MJ’s second retirement. Like the Air Jordan 11 the shoe was meant to transition from the court to a formal setting. Hence the tuxedo styled shroud over the midfoot. The shroud also gave the shoe an appearance of being two different models. This video has details and information from the Nike.com description.
The shoe was designed for the Trophy Room sneaker shop in Florida, owned by MJ’s son.
