I get asked at least once a week about starting a sneaker company. The more I learn, the more I want to tell people, don’t. We don’t another sneaker company creating more waste, but my heart understands the desire. I get it.
I was browsing Facebook and saw a post from Quintin Williams showing sneakers that were samples. It reminded me that I wrote a long post about Q4 on the site:

I wrote that post because I have traveled the road and I know what Q is up against and I know what other people who want to start sneaker companies are up against. This video is to introduce an alternative. Instead of launching something new, spend some time reaching out to those people already in the water. Don’t be afraid to bring new ideas to those brands. Don’t be afraid to take the money you would have to spend to get up and running and spend it on team sets of kicks from a brand like Q4 and create a real grassroots network. The opportunity is there for former players and coaches. The blueprint is on the post on the site.
