I had a chance to meet Jerren Thornhill yesterday after speaking with him on LinkedIn and learning more about his sneaker boutique concept OnePairKC. Jerren sat down with kids from the neighborhood to find out what they were interested in. His goal was to give the kids an alternative and to teach them entrepreneurship skills. The result is a sneaker shop that the kids are allowed to manage and operate. It’s an amazing thing and I simply wanted to take a moment to celebrate his work and hopefully this reaches the right people and the team at OPKC can get more inventory. Let’s make that happen.
