While browsing Facebook I ran across an ad for Inkkas. I recalled the company from when I funded on Kickstarter in 2014. I also remembered that the brand was invested into by Marcus Lemonis on his show “The Profit”. The ad below hit me and led me to this discussion on how social media, solely, can be a deceptive gauge of engagement. Just because you run an ad, or post a picture on Instagram, that doesn’t mean that you’ve created a funnel to your point of purchase. Social media is only part of a constantly evolving solution. While it’s difficult to engage with everyone who leaves a comment on social, you should definitely find a way to answer as many questions as possible. The ad is below.
