I originally picked up on SONRA while reading FN. I wrote a post about how excited I am when I discover new footwear companies. Although posts on companies that aren’t as big tend to not draw a lot of traffic, I’m revisiting SONRA as Hikmet prepares to release a new colorway of his Proto. He’s doing the release via Instagram and by raffle. The company typically launches only 100 numbered pair of kicks. I think it’s a very good system and has sustainability built into the concept which is important.

Today I simply wanted to post something pretty. Not a lot of convo here, just the colors of some of the models SONRA has dropped since 2016. Here are the heel counters in various flavors. It’s almost a bit frustrating to realize that Hikmet created these beautiful colorways and that if you recreate a similar color, it could be considered biting, lol. I’ll call it a homage if I ever relaunch ARCH, Scroll and enjoy:
