StockX continues to develop ideas to expand their growth. They’ve now added an option to sell multiple pairs at one time. While this doesn’t appear to be revolutionary, it opens the door to StockX getting a part of the P2P wholesale market in sneakers. While there aren’t many people selling in bulk anymore, the business was at one time very prominent in resale. In one year I actually grossed around 375,000 in wholesale.
While this isn’t exactly what the option on StockX has been created for, it definitely allows a person like me who is shipping between 10-20 pair per day the option to pack and ship in 24 x 16 x 16 boxes limiting the amount of shipping expenses generated by StockX’s free shipping to the verification center. When you consider that even with an account with UPS it costs between 9-14 dollars for StockX to have one pair shipped to them. A bulk shipment of 10 pair in one box reduces the cost to about 45 dollars which means that StockX can save almost 100 dollars on ten pair of shoes.
It’s really convenient for the seller and basically gives a seller a chance to only print the customer information slip instead of ten packing slips. The move saves both StockX and the seller time which is just as important as money. I was going to do a video to show the feature, but instead I used the picture at the lead of the page. This is a solid addition and as I get a chance to utilize it, I will write more about how it works.
