The Jordan 4 Kaws are supposedly releasing by the end of the month of March; they feature a premium grey suede upper with Kaws logos on the heel panel. They will also have an icy translucent glow-in-the-dark outsole with additional Kaws graphics. As with every shoe that drops, fake Air Jordan 4 Kaws have already hit the market and here are quick ways to spot them.
The holes on the end of the panel straps aren’t the same size, and the placement of the holes on the fakes is completely off ( see yellow circle). The suede leather on the panel underlays has a rough hairy texture on the real pair; contrast that to the smoother texture on the fakes. The stitching on the panel straps is also different ( see yellow arrow).
When you look at the lace holes on the bottom of the eyestay, they are wide, rectangular and closer together on the authentic pair; compare it to the smaller, square-like holes on the fakes with more space in between them.
The heel counter on the authentic pair is oblique in comparison to the vertical heel counter on the fakes ( see yellow circle). Also the midsole of the authentic pair has more definitions ( with clear cuts/ lines and bumps and much wider air units). On The fakes, you barely see the lines on the midsole and the air unit is much smaller. Also notice the difference on the heel panel leather ( see yellow arrow).
The bumps on the heel tab are much thicker on the authentic pair than they are on the fakes; the “Kaws” wording is legible on the real pair than it is on the fakes.
The outsoles are completely different on both pairs; the jumpman isn’t visible on the replicas, and the shape at the forefoot is also barely noticeable. I don’t think you need any help to see the differences on the outsoles.
I will be providing you with a list of legit sellers that will carry these in the days to come
