My good friend Chris from ARCH has been talking about Nike’s ability to retain its position as the leading brand in the sneaker world in many of his articles . And he always points to this one thing the brand does well – the capacity to create such a great experience for the consumer that he/she has no choice to be remain loyal. And it exemplified itself last year when Nike allowed people to cast their votes to decide what shoes they wanted to see retroed this year. And sure enough the air max 1 atmos 908366 001 was one the shoes voted in. Now you can see why Nike will always win people’s hearts.
The Air Max 1 Atmos 908366 001 were originally released in 2006 and became an instant collector’s choice- you can find even used pairs on eBay for as high as $600. They come in a black and white color combination with jade highlights. But what made the shoes iconic is the popular elephant prints on the mudguard and around the heel collar; suede overlays will come in black on each side panel and the eyestay while white will hit the toe box. Nike branding can be spotted in jade on the lateral & medial sides, outside of the tongue and the back.
The AM1 Atmos is also equipped with a PU midsole ( one of the thickest type of midsole in the market) with visible air units at the heel for maxium cushioning.
