I don’t have a quite enough information about this so I can’t really comment. I only know that if this league utilizes safer performance rules, limiting concussions and allowing for a more entertaining game that doesn’t place an emphasis on the violent and brutal nature of the NFL, this could be the beginning of a shift it sports. I’ve been saying for a while that anyone with a camera, patience and the ability to build a website could potentially start their own league and utilize social media and their own platforms to generate revenue. We live in a soundbite and video clip society now and a league that has games that are played in 4 6 minute quarters for a 24 minute game, and each quarter is streamed on YT or featured live on Netflix someone could really do some serious damage to the traditional power structure of sports. Like I said though I don’t know enough about this, but the people involved carry serious weight. Use the source link to get more info.
